I found a stand of very tall mullein plants in flower. I spent about half an hour gathering them without letting them fall on the ground. I got about a quart of them. Later I covered them with olive oil in two glass jars and put them in the sun to infuse ( Read more... )

I’m going to harvest some of the anti poison ivy stuff that I have. Jewel weed

I have seen a lot of it growing here and there, so I’m going to have some fun learning about it. I forget what it’s called.

It makes quite a liquid, which I think would be prudent to freeze or to use in salve if possible.
